Prepare

Internal communications to your team, IT handoff coordination

Asset tagging, COI submission, packing materials staged, crew credentialing, pre-move labeling

Execute

Designate a point of contact for move day decisions

On-time crew deployment, phased execution (nights, weekends, or continuous), real-time progress updates

Sign Off

Walk the space, confirm placement, report any items for punch list

Walkthrough with your team, furniture adjustments, debris removal, final sign-off
Communication Cadence
You'll have a single point of contact from assessment through sign-off. During the planning phase, expect weekly check-ins. During the week before the move, daily updates. On move day, real-time progress communication via phone or text.
We don't disappear between signing the contract and showing up on move day. That gap is where most movers lose control of the project — and where we double down.
Common Pitfalls — And How We Avoid Them
No COI submitted before move day
→ We submit COI to building management in advance — it's part of Step 3
No phasing plan for multi-department moves
→ We build a phased schedule in Step 2 so departments move in waves, not all at once
Wrong crew size for the job
→ We assess and staff correctly in Step 1 — no guessing, no understaffing
No asset tagging
→ Every item tagged and logged before it moves — chain-of-custody from origin to destination
